The son of two ministry workers Alexander and Loretta Corner michael had a pretty standard upbringing, he however was always at ends with his Father over what would become of his future. Michael way always partucularly close to his grandfather Tiberius, a celebrated retired Auror and in him he saw the role model he needed thus from a young age he dreamed of being an Auror. This did not sit well with his Father however who though Michael should take the sensible route and take a desk job in the ministry doing something safe, this life style never much appealed to Michael and tensions always ran high.. Coming to a head when Tiberius dies and leaves Michael a huge sum of money and the means to leave home. Now that he is living alone he can pursue his dreams. Despite his life long dream of being an auror he is unimpressed with the way the ministry runs them, he believes in victory through superior power and feels that the aurors she be given new degree's of power to deal with the followers of "you know who". It is Michael's drive for power and his ambition that makes him a very capable wizard but at the time it often blinds him to what is right in front of him.

Michael is a Ravenclaw student..and like all ravenclaws he values above all the value of knowledge.. for as michael once said in a letter to his grandfather "knowledge is power". From an early age he excelled at potions and Transfiguration but he always trouble with the subjects he loved the most, charms and defence against the dark arts. it wasnt until his sixth year his true potential was unleashed when he discovered a book of forbidden spells, with these he began his slippery path towards his obsession with the dark arts. His mastery of these spells gave him confidence and with this he quickly caught up in all his subjects and now has a well rounded arsenal of dark and ministry approved spells. A private hobby of his is Care Of Magical Creatures, which his father calls " a waster's subject" hence Michael never took the class but he can frequently be found hanging aroun the lake and fringes of the dark forest hoping to catch a glance of the animals that live there. He has befriended a mermaid by the name of Aurora and can speak passable mermish.

Michael's Personality:
Michael, despite common school hear say is actually quite a nice guy. Years of systematic bullying at Hogwarts has made him guarded and paranoid. Though most people dont know it Michael suffers from depression.
He likes to feel usefull and detests nothing more than feeling helpless. When he is not studying Michael loves theatre and musicals.. Once playing a small role in the Phantom Of the Opera in a muggle production near where he lived, he did so under the advice of his therapist to try and overcome his shyness.
These days Michael puts up a facade of cockiness to hide his underlying insecurites. People often describe Michael as volatile, often lashing out in anger of remarks that wer'nt even offensive.. it is his violent reactions that made him the favourite tagrget of bullies in the school. The reason he lashes it is a defence mechanism. He see's everything as an insult and therefore is always ready with a comeback.

But underneath it all he has a good heart, He will defend people who can not defend themselves without a seconds thought. Though when faced with followers of "you know who" he has been known to forget all compassion.

he has no real friends in Hogwarts but gets along with some people.. he has a great deal of trust and respect for the Ancient Runes Professor, Thalassa Tragoudi and for Professor Flitwick.

Michaels signature spell.. "Laschium Molotarium", the more advanced version of the flame whip. Here is a picture of Michael casting the spell. The same spell he used to disarm Didet leGrande in his final encounter with the man.
